Anniversary Day

Look at us now!
Look at us then!

Today David and I are celebrating our 13th anniversary. It is hard to believe that we got married in Puerto Rico at the age of 19. I can't imagine my life without this wonderful man. We have been through so much together, and I am so thankful that God knew that we were meant to be together. I am so thankful for how David works so hard to provide for our family, how he loves me despite my many flaws and how he he can always make me laugh. I love you David!

Big Rog

He loved to sleep with Grace
Roger with his injury last year...little did we know we wouldn't have very much more time with him.

Roger...sleeping by Grace

Yesterday, our beloved kitty Roger was hit by a car and killed. Our neighbor found him, and helped me take him into the garage. David came home from school and we took him to the vet to be cremated. He was such a special cat. We loved both him and his brother Dodger very much. We have some wonderful memories of this cat, and so do many of our friends and family. Some of our favorite things were:

*He loved to be spooned in bed.
*When he wasn't sleeping with us, he snuggled with Gracee
*He loved to sit in the bathroom sink and watch me get ready for my day.
*He let me dance with him. He had some really good moves!
*He let the kids harass the poo out of him...laying on him, pulling his tail, and rarely put a scratch on anyone.
*He let our friends wrestle with him
*He had a sweet and loving MEOW
*He followed the kids and I around the culdesac when we rode bikes
*He loved the sunshine (just like David and I). He was our California kitty!
*He bonded with anyone who wanted to bond with him
We love you Roger! You will be forever missed.

Grace with the finished product!

During our spring break, the kids and I visited OMSI and the Zoo. I am so looking forward to the summer to have more carefree outings with the kiddos. We also dyed Easter eggs today, and now they have been hiding them. Some are cracked after multiple hidings, but they are having fun. I hope when they are 30, they will come home to dye eggs with us.
