Evan and Grace
I'm pretty infrequent with my blogging now. As the kids get older, the time slips away faster and faster. In the past year, I walked 60 miles for breast cancer, got a job with the school district, we finished our lovely backyard and I managed to keep these kids mostly healthy. We went on a great family trip to Florida this summer and my hubby continues to keep many irons in the fire to continue to grow our future.
I would say the the things that I learn most every day is how to parent better. Some of that is through trial and error, some of it from working with young children everyday. I love my children more than life itself. I would do anything for them to ensure their happiness. I've faced decisions for both of our children that were heart breaking, yet necessary. Every day I have a decision to make. I know it only gets harder from here. I think back to the kids as babies....that was exhausting. But this stage is too, just in a different way. The emotional and physical drain of older children is different than the "no sleeping" drain. No stage has been easy. But each stage I continue to grow as a Mom to figure it out.
Bless you on your journey!
