July fun

We have had a busy and fun few weeks.  The highlights have been:

Swimming lessons (Gracee is starting to learn freestyle and Evan is finally happy to be in the water)
Sea World with the kids
Day trips to the beach/pool parties
Lots of time at the pool
Gracee's ballet recital (she did a fabulous job)
Boys 2 Men concert last night

We leave this weekend to visit family and friends in the NW.  We are hoping that we don't freeze out California bums off in the unseasonably cool NW this year :-)

During the past 2 weeks, Gracee finished 1st grade with flying colors (on David's 35th Birthday), we went camping and Evan had a trip to the ER to get a tick removed, Gracee got her 2 incisor baby teeth extracted at the dentist and my sister Kate came to visit.  Never a dull moment!  We enjoyed our visit with my sister (she has some pictures on her camera with the kids) and we look forward to seeing all of our family in about 6 weeks when we head to the NW.
