It was 50 degrees at the mountains 8500 ft elevation.  We started at a 2500 ft elevation.

and of course I ended the evening spilling water all over myself!

David and I had a lovely time in Palm Springs.  We stayed in Palm Desert at the Hampton.  On Friday we ate at a neat restaurant that was started by a firefighter and all of their dishes were named after something fire related.  Then we went back and watched a movie in our room.  On Saturday, we laid out by the pool for a couple of hours, rode the tram to the San Jacinto mountains and then went to dinner at Las Casuelas Terrace, an awesome Mexican restaurant.  I had a fresh mango margarita.  We walked around Palm Springs and enjoyed a beautiful 90 degree evening.
